Beyoncé receives the iHeartRadio Innovator Award, presented to her by Stevie Wonder

The celebration of Beyoncé continued at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles on Monday, where she received the prestigious Innovator Award.

Stevie Wonder, the legendary artist, took the stage to present the award to the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer, highlighting her groundbreaking achievements, including becoming the first African-American woman to headline Coachella and earning a number-one hit in every decade since the 1990s. He also mentioned her latest milestone, the release of her eighth studio album Cowboy Carter, which marks her unofficial debut in country music and is part of the second chapter of her Renaissance trilogy, following 2022’s album of the same name.

Beyoncé accepted the award wearing her signature black leather jacket and cowboy hat, first thanking Wonder. “Thank you for making a wave for all of us,” she said. “I’m honored to receive this recognition from you.” She went on to express her admiration for him: “Whenever anyone asks me who I could listen to for the rest of my life, it’s always you,” before also thanking him for his harmonica performance on Jolene.
